My name is Mr. Marino and before teaching, I spent two years as an auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where I learned how all kinds of businesses make and spend money.
I have been a middle school math teacher for the last 20 years and incorporate “life lessons” into my pre-algebra class.
I have a magnet in my classroom that says, “I'm glad that I learned about parallelograms in math class instead of how to do my tax return. It comes in so handy during parallelogram season.”
Life Lessons Math is my answer to that magnet. As I tell my students, “No matter what you choose to do in life, you will have to deal with money.”
